Web development has seen huge changes over the last 10 years, and I've been on that roller coaster for most of the time, matching my experience to meet them.

It's been really enjoyable and along the way, I've developed excellent Photoshop, Dreamweaver, animation and web skills, particularly accessible standards-compliant design using XHTML and CSS, as well as using PowerPoint as a visualisation tool for web development.

I've built 8 intranet sites for a community of 19,000+ users as well as numerous other sites and online web applications. I've also run my own company, Very Sensible Web Design for several years now.

I believe that web sites should never be hard to use. My driving force is to develop excellent and effective sites that clearly reveal and support their function and are great communication tools.

Disability should never prevent anyone from living as full a life as possible, so my proudest achievement was an intranet site that was so accessible to blind or partially sighted people, they could navigate it with the monitor turned off!

I hope you enjoy looking at the examples of my work and you get in touch with me if you have any questions. I look forward to talking to you!

So finally, what's the best word I could use to sum up my attitude to work and life?

I think it would be FOCUSED.

Rob
